Tamil film "Rangoli," helmed by director Vaali Mohan Das and featuring Hamaresh, Aadukalam Murugadoss, and Prarthana, received a warm reception upon its release in Kollywood last September. Now, it's set to charm Telugu audiences as "Satya." The teaser for the film was unveiled today, offering a glimpse into the narrative, which revolves around school students and delves into the dynamics of a father-child relationship, all without veering into sentimentality, as shared by director Vaali.
The ensemble cast of "Rangoli" includes Muruga Doss, Amit Bhargav, Sanjay, Ragul, Vishwa, Akshaya Hariharan, Krithiga, and Sai Sree, among others. Produced by K Babu Reddy and G Satish Kumar under Gopuram Studios, the film boasts a talented technical crew with Marudhanayagam as the cinematographer, R Sathyanarayanan as the editor, and Sundaramurthy KS as the music composer.
The teaser paints a picture of realism and authenticity, offering a peek into the protagonist's journey filled with natural elements. Notably, the teaser and song were launched by "Shivam Media," the brainchild of senior journalist Shiva Mallala, adding to the anticipation surrounding the project.
During the event at Prasad Labs, Director Vaali Mohan Das expressed his affinity for Telugu and his joy in crafting a heartfelt film. He emphasized the significance of "Satya" being his debut venture, fondly reminiscing about the journey from its inception to fruition.
Wordsmith K.N. Vijay Kumar, who penned the Telugu adaptation of "Satya," praised the film's authenticity and heartfelt portrayal of family emotions. Producer K Babu Reddy lauded Shiva Mallala's dedication to his debut production and his aspirations for significant success.
Actor Hamaresh Vikram shared his journey from a child artist to a lead actor, expressing gratitude for the overwhelming response to the Tamil version and his excitement for the Telugu release. Heroine Pratharna Sandeep echoed his sentiments, aspiring for similar success in Telugu.
In a touching moment, Hero Amaresh credited his family's unwavering support and expressed his equal love for both Telugu and Tamil industries. TFJA president TV9 Lakshmi Narayana extended best wishes for the film's success, acknowledging Shiva Mallala's diligence and perseverance.
