Jeff Bezos, the CEO of Amazon and world's richest person, is in the news because his mobile phone was reportedly hacked in 2018 following an exchange between him and Saudi Prince Mohammed bin Salman on WhatsApp. Forensic analysis has thrown up this stunning revelation. This has become a sensation in the US.

Bezos' personal data was stolen from his phone in 2018 soon after an infected video file sent from bin Salman's WhatsApp number.

As per 'The Guardian', "Bezos was in a WhatsApp chat with Saudi's crown prince when, unprompted, the crown prince sent him a random file. The file, it appears, contained malware, which allowed Bezos' phone to be hacked, leading to leaks of photos designed to embarrass him."

Back in 2018, Jeff Bezos and the Saudi crown prince were seen laughing together on the sidelines of an event. "Well, apparently, it was followed by a friendly Whatsapp exchange between the two men. Now it turns out, the Saudi crown prince used that Whatsapp exchange to hack Bezos's phone! Wow. Just wow," says a commentator.
