In yet another incident which highlighted the increasing crime rate in the national capital, a few students killed a 20-year old person in a moving bus in broad daylight in full vision of co-travellers, terrorizing them not to raise alarm. To top it all, they had waited till the attacked person ‘died’ before fleeing the spot.

Police have decided to release a graphic drawing of the accused students in an apparent effort to trace them as it has been becoming very tough for them to track them. The uniform reported worn by the students matched with 16 schools in the National Capital Territory of Delhi, making it difficult for the police to track them.

The bus was travelling towards Ashram Chowk yesterday morning when the incident occurred. The deceased had raised an alarm stating his expensive mobile phone had been ‘pick-pocketed’ by somebody in the bus. Soon afterwards, the gang of six students started attacking him after an altercation and to the horror of those who watched, slit the persons’ throat using a knife.

They ensured that the person had breathed his last before escaping from the bus and started running in different directions. Their graphic drawings have been prepared based on the testimonies of the passengers.
