'Golconda High School' starring Sumanth, Swati and Subbaraju this Sankranti opened with a positive talk at the box office. The movie made with a budget of Rs 6 crore is close to break even, sources from the movie say.

Producer P Rammohan told media that the movie that preaches the need for sports in schools, is being appreciated by school managements across the state. He informed that a lot of international schools are sponsoring the tickets for this film to children from government schools.

The encouragement from school managements is overwhelming. The intention behind making this movie is fulfilled if more students take to sports. Games are important in healthy upbringing and in the rat race for jobs and competitive seats, parents are ignoring the need for sports in schools. We highlighted the same and school managements are liking it Ram Mohan said.
