Sell liquor and get gold, says liquor companies

As Onam festival is round the corner, the liquor companies in Kerala have brought interesting offers to promote their specialty brands in the onam trade. According to the new offer, he bar owner will be offered a gift including gold when the liquor sale is increased. If the sales increase, so does the number of prizes.
It may be noted that the liquor companies were not allowed to make such sales when only beverages and consumer federations were allowed to sell sealed bottled liquor. However, as per the government's new arrangement the interventions of beverage corporations have been restricted and 70 percent of retail liquor sale will be carried out through bars. This has led the liquor companies are trying to boost their sales in every possible way.
