Last week, a day before the NEET entrance exam three students from Tamil Nadu died by suicide fearing the NEET examination following which there was a huge outrage on social media against the government for troubling students and pressuring them by conducting exams during the pandemic.

Now director Selvaraghavan has adviced students who are under exam pressure. Earlier this week, Selvaraghavan's NGK hero Suriya had posted a strong anti NEET statement on Twitter. On the work front, Selvaraghavan will soon start his next direction venture and is making his acting debut with Arun Matheswaran's Saani Kaayitham co-starring Keerthy Suresh.
