Selvaraghavan about restarting 'Kaan' with Simbu

Before starting 'Nenjam Marappathillai' which is expected to release soon, director Selvaraghavan started working on 'Kaan' which had Silambarasan and Tapsee Pannu in lead roles. This film should have actually marked the reunion of Selvaraghavan with Yuvan Shankar Raja
The shooting happened for a considerable number of days and an attractive first look featuring Simbu was also released. However the project had to be shelved due to unknown reasons but Selva had assured his fans that he will resume the project when the right time comes.
Now after a long gap Selva has opened up about 'Kaan' in his live interaction with fans on Twitter.
"Many people keep asking me about 'Kaan'. Let me put a full stop for it. There is no problem at all with Simbu. He is a close friend to me and Yuvan. The project will certainly happen. I hope it will happen and if it happens it will take us to a different level."
We hope Selva's words come true in the near future.
