Sena chief Uddhav Thackeray attacks Maha Govt. saying it is fit for nothing!

In a scathing attack on Maharashtra chief-minister Devendra Fadnavis and the Govt. led by him, Shiv Sena chief Udhav Thakre has termed the Govt. as ‘fit-for-nothing’.

Thackeray's comments don’t augur well for the BJP-Shiv Sena alliance which has been ruling the State since 2014.  The Jr. Thakre also demanded that it was high time the State had as separate Home Minister.  Presently, chief-minister Devendra Fadnavis is also handling the Home portfolio and is in-charge of the State’s internal security.

The strained alliance between the two parties suffered yet another blow when Sena leader Sachin Sawant was shot dead in broad daylight last Sunday (22nd April).  Before Sawant’s killing, two more Sena leaders were also shot dead in Ahmednagar early this month soon after the results of civil body polls were announced.

“I’m sure Fadnavis Govt. is good for nothing.  In fact, the law and order situation in the State is worse than that of Bihar.  It is high time the Govt. appointed a separate Home Minister to handle internal security,” Thakre told newsmen yesterday.
