Sensation: Salaar 3 in the offing

Prabhas' high-octane action spectacle, helmed by director Prashant Neel, has now made its way to the small screens of OTT platforms, with its availability on Netflix. While Salaar received admiration from many viewers, a common sentiment echoed was that the intricacies of the complex world crafted by Prashant Neel posed a slight challenge in comprehension.

Acknowledging this, Prashant Neel has candidly admitted in a couple of interviews that he might have made it a bit more intricate than necessary and assured fans that all lingering questions would find answers in Salaar Part 2: Shouryanga Parvam.

To mark the OTT release, Prashant Neel's wife, Likitha, engaged with fans on Instagram through a Q&A session, inviting questions about the film. Amidst the congratulatory messages and straightforward queries, some questions sparked intriguing responses from Likitha Neel.

When asked about the potential for a Part 3 of Prabhas starrer Salaar, Likitha Neel neither confirmed nor denied, saying, "We'll have to see at the end of Shouryanga Parvam."

Responding to speculation about Akhil Akkineni's involvement in Shouryanga Parvam, Likitha clarified, "That is strictly a rumor." It's evident that Likitha is an avid follower of Prashant's work, having watched Salaar Part 1 multiple times, yet cheekily admitting to having a book full of unanswered questions.

In a playful response to a query about a potential cameo by Prashant Neel in Shouryanga Parvam, similar to Rajamouli's appearance in Baahubali, Likitha jokingly remarked, "Not even his shadow will be present in the film." The Q&A session left fans speculating and anticipating, especially with the possibility of a Part 3, given the unresolved questions in Part 1. Whether Part 2 will sufficiently address all queries remains a suspense to be unveiled.

As for Salaar Part 2, it appears that Prashant Neel and the team have already filmed certain segments, including the iconic Dinosaur dialogue narrated by Tinnu Anand. The film seems to adopt a non-linear screenplay, jumping between timelines, evident from gun shootout sequences, including those glimpsed in the teaser. While the team is reveling in the success of Salaar, the commencement of shooting for the second installment is expected once Prabhas concludes his ongoing commitments, including projects like Kalki 2898 AD and a horror-comedy with director Maruthi.
