Sensational transgender couple hosts naming ceremony for their baby

The sensational transgender couple from Kerala Ziya Paval and Zahhad recently conducted a naming ceremony for their newborn, Zabiya Zahhad, on International Women's Day. The ceremony was held in an open venue in the district and was attended by members of the transgender community and well-wishers. The couple expressed their hope that their baby would bring light to society.
Although they had previously chosen not to disclose the gender of their child, they revealed it during the ceremony. The couple also revealed that they plan to travel with their baby girl after six months and will be taking time to rest until then. This couple had previously made headlines for demanding that their new gender identities be registered on the birth certificate and other documents of the newborn, with the trans-man listed as the father and his trans-woman partner listed as the mother. The couple was blessed with the baby through a Caesarean section, on 8 February, considered to be the first such case in the country.
