Thejashri, who is a busy actress in Bhojpuri films, will play the lead role in a sensitive movie in Tamil next titled Nadigai.
As the title suggests, it is the movie about a struggles of an actress in Tamil film industry. It throws light of the travails she has to undergo to make it big in her career.
Director Babu Ganesh has touched the issue of several heroines, who committed suicide before.
Thejashri does the title role and there are some similarities between the screen character and the real Thejashri. She is a Kathak dancer and this proved to be instrumental in her making an entry into films.
The film Nadigai portrays the heroine as a Kathak dancer who enters films because of her dance talent.
