Popular folk singer couple Senthil and Rajalakshmi won millions of Tamil hearts around the globe after their participation in the Super Singer Season 6 on Vijay TV. Senthil Ganesh went on to win the show while his wife gave tough competition before being evicted.

Senthil and Rajalakshmi have a son Kavinraja and a daughter Narthanasri and the traditional ear piercing ceremony for both was conducted in their hometown in Pudukottai district. Vijay TV stars such as Erode Mahesh and fellow folk singers Velmurugan and Chinnaponnu attended the grand event.

A surprise guest was the Pudukottai District Collector Kavitha Ramu while families from both the sides of the couple graced the occassion and made it a successful one. Senthil-Rajalakshmi are currently in talks to sing for several movies and the details will be out soon.
