Director Santhosh Jayakumar who had debuted with Hara Hara Mahadevaki, the adult comedy starring Gautham Karthik and Nikki Galrani, directed yet another adult comedy Iruttu Araiyil Murattu Kuthu starring Gautham karthik, Vaibhavi Shandilya and Yaashika Anand.

Iruttu Araiyil Murattu Kuthu, despite negative reviews and controversies turned out to be a commercial success, and the director also went on to remake the movie in Telugu, where it was a failure. Santhosh also directed Ghajnikanth with Arya and Sayyeshaa.

While the director had recently started the thriller Pulanaivu starring Arvind Swamy as a detective, it has now been revealed that Santhosh has also started works on the sequel to Iruttu Araiyil Murattu Kuthu. Reportedly, the director is planning Iruttu Araiyil Murattu Kuthu 2 with debutants, and the details on this movie will be revealed soon.
