The Tamil film 'Vishwathulasi' directed by Sumathi Ram was released in the year 2004 which starred Mammootty, Nandita Das, Manoj K Jayan and Manivannan in the lead roles. Actress Ambili Devi played the teenage version of Nandita Das and she later went on to star in several films and serials in Malayalam.
Ambili married Thiruvananthapuram-based film-serial cameraman Loval on March 27, 2009, and has a son, Amarnath, who was born on January 27, 2013. But in 2014 the couple divorced due to some issues and she later fell in love with serial actor Adithyan Jain and they got married in 2019 and a son was born in the same year.
In April this year Ambili Devi's revelations regarding her second spouse, Adithyan Jayan shocked her fans. Responding to divorce rumors she revealed that her husband has an adulterous affair and that right from the time she was pregnant with their child.
Ambili also revealed that the 'other woman' is a mother of a 13-year-old and is allegedly pregnant. Adithyan had also gone to the extent of posting the pregnancy scan report of his illegal lover on his Facebook cover page.
The 36-year-old actress in May lodged a police complaint that Adithyan physically abused her and is forcing her to divorce him through mutual consent. Adithyan Jayan has been booked by police on the grounds of domestic violence and was arrested and produced before a magistrate and was granted bail. He has been ordered to refrain from any action against his wife for her complaints while she has been ordered not to give any interviews regarding the issue until it's solved.
