Sex Change: Lalita marries a woman after becoming Lalit

More than a year back, a female police constable named Lalita Salve became Lalit Salve by undergoing a sex change surgery. Now a man, he married a woman earlier this week.
The sex reassignment surgery (SRS) was performed on Lalita at a government hospital named St George's Hospital in Mumbai in mid-2018. It involved at least three stages of surgery and legal battles, India Today reports.
It was in 2015 or so that Lalita learned that she had the presence of Y chromosome in her body following medical tests. Her body had been undergoing physical changes for some time. After duly following all legal and medical procedures, she decided to go for the sex-change surgery.
