Premam actor to turn a director!

'Premam' movie fame actor-singer-lyricist Shabareesh Varma is all set to don the director's hat. In an interview to a popular entertainment portal, Shabareesh revealed about the directorial venture. Shabareesh is also scripting the flick and is planning to go on floors by the mid of 2020. Rumors are that his close pal Nivin Pauly is likely to play the lead role.
Shabareesh made his acting debut with Alphonse Puthren’s Tamil-Malayalam ‘Neram’. He then began his career as lyricist and actor with the superhit flick 'Premam'. He later starred in films like ‘Naam’, ‘Ladoo’ and ‘Thanneer Mathan Dhinangal’.
The actor is currently prepping up for the release of his new movie, ‘Mariyam Vannu Vilakkoothi’ which marks the reunion of his ‘Premam’ gang of actors — Siju Wilson, Krishna Shankar, and Althaf Salim.
