'Shadow' and comedy

If you thought Venkatesh's Shadow is only about action and crime, you are mistaken. Meher Ramesh is cooling off the film with a dose of comedy. And know who is taking on the burden? Venkatesh himself.

The film has some rib-tickling episodes featuring Venkatesh alongside MS Narayana, say sources. With Gopi Mohan writing the script and Kona Venkat penning the dialogues, we are assured of neat and healthy comedy. The scenes are currently being shot at Ramoji Film City.

Starring Srikanth in a key role, the movie's main female lead is Tapsee Pannu, while Madhumitha is playing a second fiddle. Music is by SS Thaman. 'Shadow' is schedule to be released on January 11, 2013.
