Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan has temporarily moved out of his iconic Bandra bungalow and rented a house owned by actress Rakul Preet Singh and her husband’s family.
Shah Rukh’s residence, a century-old royal-era bungalow in Mumbai’s Bandra, is undergoing major renovations, including the addition of two extra floors. To facilitate this extensive remodeling, SRK, along with his wife and children, has shifted to a rented property in the same area.
The rented residence comprises two duplex apartments, which reportedly belong to Rakul Preet Singh’s husband’s family. Given the scale of the renovation, the work is expected to take up to two years, during which Shah Rukh and his family will continue to stay in the rented home.
It has been reported that Shah Rukh Khan paid ₹33 lakh as an upfront deposit and will be paying around ₹24 lakh per month for the rental. Security considerations were also a key factor in choosing this temporary residence.
As one of Bollywood’s biggest stars, SRK’s move has drawn significant attention, with fans eager to see the transformation of his historic bungalow once completed.
