Shahid Kapoor feels honoured to host IIFA again

Last year at IIFA, the audience simply loved Shahid Kapoor as the show’s host. Having got a fantastic response and ultimately the event was huge hit. So much so that the makers were keen to get Shahid on board this time as well.

Apparently when the organizers approached, Shahid jumped on the opportunity and even asked his manager to work out his dates for IIFA. Speaking on hosting the IIFA Awards for a second time, remarked an excited Shahid, I’m looking forward to host IIFA Awards at The Venetian Macao this year. I had a great time co-hosting with Farhan last year and it’s a privilege to do it again, especially with Shahrukh.

Shahid, who was in a hectic shooting schedule for ‘Rambo Rajkumar’, managed to make time for it all. Since he was quite keen to be part of IIFA, Shahid used to dedicate time, post pack up every day.

The young dancing sensation put in extra hours to juggle between his dance rehearsals with Prabhudheva for ‘Rambo Rajkumar’, his shooting schedule for the song and practicing for IIFA as well.

The IIFA 2013 will be held July 6 at the Venetian Macao.
