Shahid Kapoor to do remake of cult Telugu hit

A report has claimed that 'Arjun Reddy' will be done in Hindi by Shahid Kapoor and not Arjun Kapoor.

As is known, Sandeep Reddy, the director of the original, will be the captain of the Bollywood remake, too. As per the buzz, the remake will go on the floors from September. It's not known what the sensational Tollywood director will do till then. Will he take up a Telugu project meanwhile?

If Vijay Devarakonda will indeed be reprised by Shahid, it will be interesting. The actor may well surprise in the role of a brooding, crest-fallen, self-defeatist lover.
