Yesterday, soon after announcing the launch of her own production house, Alia Bhatt also announced the first project under its banner. Her company, Eternal Sunshine Productions will produce a film titled 'Darlings', which will be co-produced by Shahrukh Khan's Red Chillies Entertainment. Shahrukh and Alia previously collaborated as actors on 'Dear Zindgi'.

'Darlings' will star Alia herself alongside Shefali Shah, Vijay Verma etc... While sharing an announcement video for the project on her Instagram, Alia wrote, "This one's special! Announcing #Darlings, my first ever production under @eternalsunshineproduction, in association with my fav @iamsrk’s @redchilliesent!"

'Darlings' will be a dark comedy about a quirky mother daughter duo who find their way through the obstacles of life. It will be set against a conservative middle class backdrop.
