In the wake of Coronavirus pandemic, Actor Shahrukh Khan has announced a number of packages as an initiative from his Red Chilies Entertainment along with his partners, to help people during the crisis times.

Shahrukh tweeted "In these times it’s imp to make everyone around u working tirelessly for u.. not related to u.. perhaps even unknown to u... to feel they are not alone and by themselves. Let’s just make sure we all do our little bit to look after each other. India and all Indians are One Family.Stay Safe Stay Healthy and don’t forget to pray."

The contributions from Shahrukh and his partners are as follows.Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR), co-owned by Gauri Khan, Shah Rukh Khan, Juhi Chawla Mehta and Jay Mehta will be donating to the PM-CARES Fund, and Red Chillies Entertainment, owned by Gauri Khan and Shah Rukh Khan, will be contributing to Maharashtra CM’s Relief Fund. KKR and Meer Foundation will collaborate with West Bengal and the Maharashtra governments to give 50,000 Personal Protective Equipment kits to healthcare professionals. Meer Foundation along with Ek Saath: The Earth foundation will provide food for 5,500 families for a month in Mumbai and send 2,000 freshly cooked meals every day for households and hospitals.Meer Foundation and Roti Foundation will collaborate with Mumbai Police to 3 lakh meal kits for 10,000 people per day for a month.Meer Foundation will provide essentials and grocery for a month to 2,500 daily wage workers identified across Delhi and also provide a monthly stipend for 100 acid attack survivors in Uttar Pradesh, Delhi, Bihar, West Bengal and Uttarakhand.
