This Shakeela movie to get a BIG theatrical release!

As the central government has allowed cinema halls to reopen with safety regulations and 50 per cent occupancy under Unlock 5 plan of the coronavirus induced nationwide lockdown, the makers of the 'Shakeela' biopic have announced that the movie will have a theatrical release on Christmas this year.
The announcement was made through a brand new poster that featured the lead actress Richa Chadha, who plays Shakeela in the movie, draped in a saree and holding a gun. This year, Christmas gets hotter. In cinemas, the caption on the poster read.
Directed by Indrajit Lankesh, the movie was scheduled to hit the screens earlier this year but due pandemic the movie was postponed. Shakeela revolves around the yesteryear soft porn actress Shakeela, who was once the biggest star of the 1990s from Kerala. Shakeela acted in several adult films in languages spanning Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam and Kannada.
Shakeela also stars Pankaj Tripathi and Malayalam actor Rajeev Pillai. Produced by Sammy Nanwani and Sahil Nanwani, the movie will have a multilingual release.
