Shane Nigam to team up with a veteran super hit director

Actor Shane Nigam, who was last seen in the movie Veyil, is all set to team up with veteran super hit director Bhadran. The veteran director has roped in Shane Nigam for a project titled Joodan. It may be remembered that the movie was announced back in 2019 with Joju George, Soubin Shahir and Rima Kallingal in the lead roles. However, the project never took off due to unknown reasons. After three years, now it seems like the director is planning to revive it with Shane Nigam in the lead. According to the latest update Shane Nigam is replacing Soubin Shahir in the film while Rima Kallingal’s role is likely to be done by Mamta Mohandas. A reason for Soubin opting out could be that he has his own directorial to focus on. As the actor is gearing up for his second directorial titled Othiram Kadakkam, which has Dulquer Salmaan in the lead. It is said the Shane will be appearing in the role of a Jewish character named Eo Eliyavu Kohan. Actors Joju, Indrans, Joy Mathew and Sharafudheen are also expected to be part of the cast. Scripted by S Suresh Babu, who has earlier written for films such as 'Nadan’, ‘Shikkar’ and ‘Kanal’, the upcoming movie is touted to be a psychological thriller. As the team is planning to start the shoot in September, 2022, an official announcement regarding the cast and crew is expected soon.

Meanwhile, Shane will be seen sharing screen space with Soubin in Salam Bappu’s feel-good entertainer which is currently being shot in the UAE. In the movie Shane playing a Malappuram-based youth who reaches the UAE for a job, but what welcomes him is not the Dubai he imagined. Shane has also signed a movie with director Nadirshah. Shane is expected to join the Bhadran directorial after he completed this Nadirsha movie.
