Surprising details on Shankar 25 celebrations!

Recently, photos of top directors of Tamil film industry joining hands to celebrate the 25th anniversary of director Shankar in films had turned viral, and the event saw makers like Maniratnam, Lingusamy, Balaji Sakthivel, Atlee, Ezhil, Vasantha Balan, Gautham Menon, Pandiraj and many others, assembled at Mysskin's office.
Now, director Vasantha Balan has spilled beans on how and what happened in the event, with his latest Facebook post. Vasantha Balan posted that, Gautham Menon sang Ilayaraja songs, while Mysskin, Lingusamy and Pandiraj danced. Mohan Raja reportedly broke down into tears seeing Maniratnam, and had an emotional moment with him, and the team had planned 25 gifts for Shankar.
They had also planned a game where the person guessing the gifts will be given prizes, and the 26th gift was a bigger surprise, as all the directors kissed Shankar, and Maniratnam hugged Shankar. Following this, Maniratnam had reportedly shared his experiences in making movies right from Nayagan till Kadal, and directors listened and learnt a lot from the master. This unexpected meet and the camaraderie displayed by the directors sharing their love and respect for each other has made Kollywood happy.
