Superstar Rajinikanth's fans all over the globe are awaiting the teaser of his magnum opus '2.0', which is directed by Shankar and produced by Lyca Productions. It was expected during Diwali last year and this year's New Year and Pongal but did not release.

Director Shankar has wished all his fans a happy Republic Day and has revealed that the teaser work of 2.0 is going in full swing at Mobscene, LA, California in the US. As it involves a lot of CG, the teaser will be released once it is done. '2.0' has A.R. Rahman's music while Amy Jackson plays the leading lady of Rajinikanth and Akshay Kumar the chief antagonist.

Much to the dissatisfaction of many concerned, Lyca Productions is not issuing a guaranteed release date as yet.
