Shankar to launch Mahesh Babu in Bollywood?

Grapevine is abuzz that director Shankar, who has delivered nothing but blockbusters in his decade long career and enjoys pan Indian fans, will launch top notch Telugu actor Mahesh Babu in Hindi.

Not just that, it's said that this will be the Hindi remake of I, since Hrithik Roshan couldn't accept Shankar's offer as he couldn’t accommodate the dates, Shankar has opted for Mahesh Babu.

A hush-hush meeting between the two in Chennai, last week when Mahesh flew to Chennai, has led to these rumors.

Starring Vikram and Amy Jackson, I by Shankar is to be canned at various international locales and sees the both as super models. It's an out and out commercial venture and the introductory song was recently canned at huge sets in Chennai.
