Shankar-Vadivelu's comedy goes on floor

The long-in-the-waiting sequel to the super hit historical comedy film 'Imsai Arasan 23am Pulikesi' ('Himsinche 23va Raju Pulikesi' in Telugu) is going to the sets today.
The sequel, titled as 'Imsai Arasan 24am Pulikesi', will have Vadivelu (once again) in the lead role. It has been written and directed by Chimbu Devan. The sequel will be produced by director Shankar along with Lyca Productions, which is currently producing Shankar's directorial magnum opus '2.0'.
Ghibran will score the music for the sequel, while debutant Saravanan will be the cinematographer.
It has to be seen if the hilarious historical comedy, a very rare genre in the history of Indian cinema, will be dubbed into Telugu. Vadivelu, though, has lost his mojo in Telugu since long.
