Shankar's production plans

Director Shankar was until recently an active producer too. However, he applied a brake on the ambitious plans of S Pictures, after some of his production ventures failed to taste success in the box-office. But things are no more the same.
I will of course produce movies. I am waiting for right story and the right team. Since I burnt my hands after my production ventures did not perform well, my strategy will be different this time. I have to be more careful, he says.
Dismissing reports which claimed that his next film would be with Tollywood Megastar Chiranjeevi, Shankar says, A lot of other theories are also doing rounds. But I would like to clarify that I have not signed any new film after Nanban.
Shankar, who is currently holidaying with his family, says, I will start my next venture only by March. And it will sure be an original script, and not a remake like Nanban.
