Shiney: I made a grave mistake

Seems that the ÂGangster hero turned out to be a real baddie in his real life. In a twist of tale, actor Shiney Ahuja confirmed the rape charges against him. After the medical reports showed positive results, the actor didnÂt see any chance to keep mum. The test revealed that he had forced the teen aged maid to have Âconsensual sexÂ.
A visibly remorse Shiney confessed the crime and stated, ÂI have committed a great mistake by doing this. I tried to tell her to keep silent after the incident. I was confident that she wouldn't tell anyone of the incident and I was ready to give her whatever she wanted to make sure that she would keep quite. I have made a grave mistake.Â
According to the police, the victim had filed a FIR after the tragic encounter and said, ÂHe took me into his bedroom, gagged and raped meÂ.
The incident happened at the actorÂs residence, when the actorÂs wife was away. The actor already suffered strained relationships with his wife. This incident will only deepen it further. According to sources, Shiney had supporters in the acting clan before he accepted the crime. But looks like after his confession, he will evenly lose their confidence also.
