The first son of Dr Rajakumar – Shivarajakumar has taken the lead in collecting funds for the flood affected people of Uttarkand region. The similar system was adopted by Dr Rajakumar when he was living. There are many examples of Dr Rajakumar coming to roads and seeking alms for needy people.

Shivarajakumar not taken up a Jatha to collect funds but urged his fans and well wishers to contribute liberally. In a short span of time Rs.11 lakh was collected. That has Rs.5 lakhs contribution from Shivarajakumar. The fans and producers close to Shivarajakumar contributed rest of the amount.

Rs.11 lakh was supposed to go to the Chief Minister Relief fund on Shivarajakumar birthday 12th July but the busy schedule of chief minister delayed the presentation of relief fund.

The century star Shivarajakumar took appointment for Saturday morning with Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah and handed over Rs.11 lakhs to the Uttarkand flood victim’s aid.

July 12 was the Karnataka State budget day and that was obviously hectic day for the chief minister. On Saturday morning Sa Ra Govindu, Umesh Banakar, Jack Manjunath and others were present at CM home office when Shivanna donated the cheque.
