Actor Shiva Balaji of 'Arya' and 'Chandamama' fame has now turned a producer to encourage new talent. He started a banner named Gagan Musical frames and the regular shooting of the first film from the banner will start tomorrow (Sept 23).

Mahesh Upputuri, who earlier directed 'Paddanandi Premalo Mari', will helm this film. The film will be in the backdrop of 1980s and is based on a real story between two friends.

Shiva Balaji said that he started the banner on the name of his son and will encourage new talent. He added that he is very happy to be starting his first film as a producer on the same day (Sept 23rd), he enterted the industry as an actor in 2002.
