Actor Shiva Rajkumar has confirmed his role in the upcoming film 'Jailer 2', directed by Nelson and starring Superstar Rajinikanth. The shooting for 'Jailer 2' is progressing actively, with current scenes being filmed at the Tamil Nadu–Kerala border featuring Rajinikanth, Ramya Krishnan, and Mirnaa.

The film is produced by Sun Pictures with music composed by Anirudh. There were ongoing questions about whether actors like Shiva Rajkumar and Mohanlal, who appeared in the first film, would return for the sequel. Shiva Rajkumar has now officially confirmed his participation. Speaking at a press meet, he said, “Yes, I will be acting in 'Jailer 2'. My shooting schedule will begin soon.”

Reflecting on the success of the original 'Jailer', he added, “Even though I had only a small role in 'Jailer', I was determined to be a part of it. I never expected to receive such enormous love from the audience. All I did was tap a tissue box with a cigarette in my mouth – that’s it.”

'Jailer 2' is highly anticipated by fans following the massive success of the first film.
