Shivaji's three avatars in Gurudu

This is something Shivaji has never tried in his career before. He is donning three caps in his next film Gurudu. While he plays a cop for some part, he will be seen as a software engineer for a bit too. And what is the third role? It is a suspense for now. The director Kiran refuses to reveal what the third role is.

The film makers say that Shivaji will be seen in a distinct role in the third avatar. He has never done a film like this, they say. Gurudu tracks the story of the hero and the villain, who try to outmanoeuvre each other every time.

However, as things would have it, the hero is always one step ahead in the scheme of things. Music by 'Mantra' Anand will be released in the first week of October.

Shivaji badly needs a hit as a solo hero at this juncture. Will Gurudu bail him out?
