Shivani Rajasekhar is one of the talented heroines in Telugu film industry who has worked on multiple interesting films. She is yet to claim the stardom but has been looking at grabbing some good opportunities. Shivani proved her mettle as an actor with the films like Kota Bommali IPS, Shekar, Nenjuku Needhi and Anbarivu. Interestingly, she is now doing a film with Madhavan.

According to sources, Shivani has been roped in for a pivotal role in R Madhavan’s upcoming film titled GDN. Directed by Krishnakumar Ramakumar, the film is a biopic of the renowned inventor and engineer GD Naidu.

Shivani will be joining the film's shoot from the month of June. A crucial schedule is being planned in June. The makers of the film were looking for an artistic face, and they happened to chance upon Shivani’s portfolio. After witnessing her performance in earlier films, they decided to bring her on board to play this character in the film.

Govind Vasantha will provide the music. G.D.N. is bankrolled by Varghese Moolan and Vijay Moolan under the banner of Varghese Moolan Pictures in association with Mediamax Productions and Tricolour Films.
