Shobha and S.A. Chandrasekhar celebrated Valentines Day while son Vijay was doing this

Valentine's Day was celebrated all over the world, on Tuesday and social media was abuzz with several youth proposing and sharing results. Seniors on the other hand shared memories and one such long time couple were Thalapathy Vijay's parents SA Chandrasekhar and Shoba Chandrasekhar. The veteran director posted a cute photo with his wife taken several decades back captioned "My heart recollects those sweet memories...Happy Valentines Day".

SAC and Shobha have known each other since they were teenagers and fell in love as time went by. Their Hindu wedding took place in the early 70s presided over by the late Nadigar Thilagam Sivaji Ganesan and his wife Kamala. Since Chandrasekhar is a Christian by birth on the insistance of Shobha they also got married according to that tradition in Velankanni when Vijay was six years old.

Shobha Chandrasekhar in an interview also stated that she was six months pregnant during her Christian wedding with her daughter Vidya who unfortunately passed away when she was around four years old. Her passing away affected the family and especially Vijay in a big way.

Thalapathy Vijay meanwhile on Valentines Day was reportedly shooting for a high octane action sequence in Kashmir for his new movie 'Leo'. He has been stationed in the snow covered state for almost two weeks now and will remain there for another fortnight as well.

'Leo' directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj is produced by Seven Screen Studios with Anirudh scoring the music and Manoj Paramahamsa behind the lenses. The film stars Vijay, Trisha, Priya Anand, Mansoor Ali Khan, Arjun, Mysskin, Gautham Vasudev Menon, Sandy, Mathew Thomas and others.
