Shocker in Warangal: A scorpion in beer bottle

Parakala village in Warangal (Rural) district is in the news for a strange reason. On Sunday, a youngster went to a wine shop near the village's RTC depot. He ordered a bottle of beer. Least did he know that there was a scorpion in the sealed bottle. He opened the seal and nearly emptied the bottle. As the drinker was about to take the last peg, the body parts of the dead scorpion came tumbling out of the bottle's mouth.
Shocked, the customer picked up a quarrel with the owner of the shop. The owner defended himself by saying that the beer was not manufactured by him.
A complaint was lodged with the Excise officials in no time. The department has promised an inquiry.
