Shocking state of Raymond man's poverty

Raymond, the brand which was a household name in the late 1980s and 1990s. The man behind the meteoric rise of the brand, Vijaypat Singhania, is currently living in poverty. Well, almost.

It is a stuff of film stories. Shocking it is, but true. Who is the cause? Vijaypat's son, Gautam Singhania. The son ditched his millionaire dad after he got hold of the company's shares. Ever since, Vijaypat has been stripped of what used to be his, one by one.

Today, as reported by a daily, Vijaypat is living a very humble life, literally spending his limited money like gold. He is also fighting a property dispute in a court.
