Shoot of Vijay Deverakonda's 'Kushi' postponed yet again

It was in April and May that Vijay Deverakonda and Samantha Ruth Prabhu shot for 'Kushi', a family entertainer and a rom-com, in Kashmir. It was a marathon maiden schedule. Director Shiva Nirvana has since been waiting to kick off a new schedule. In August, a new schedule was supposed to begin. But it was put on hold after Sam was diagnosed with an autoimmune disorder.
Earlier, the plan was to recommence the shoot in December. But the 'Shaakuntalam' and 'Majili' actress is not yet ready. It's learned that she has told the makers she won't be able to make it now, as her health is not yet alright. The makers have granted her permission to stay away from work.
Whenever Sam is ready, 'Kushi' is going to be shot in Hyderabad, Vizag, and Alleppey. With music by Hishaam Abdul Vaahaab, the film is produced by Mythri Movie Makers. It is expected to hit the screens in the second half of 2023.
