Shreyas and Deepti Talpade's Poshter Boyz' which released under their home banner Affluence Movies Pvt. Ltd., on Friday 1st August has struck gold at the box office; receiving rave reviews both from critics and audiences alike. The movie which opened with a 167 screen release across the state has collected over INR 1.1 crore in its first four days itself, making it one of the largest openers of 2014 for Marathi cinema. The movie benefited immensely from a very aggressive marketing campaign and strong word-of-mouth driven by a novel concept, original content and rib-tickling humour.

Directed by Sameer Patil, the film features Dilip Prabhavalkar, Hrishikesh Joshi, Aniket Vishwasrao, Pooja Sawant and Neha Joshi and cameos by Shreyas Talpade, Rohit Shetty, Farah Khan, Anu Malik, Sachin and Supriya Pilgaonkar, Murli Sharma and Ashwini Kalsekar, has not only the audiences and critics, but even celebrities who have seen the film lavishing well wishes and praises through social media.

The medium has been going gaga over the movie ever since the film hit theatres. Speaking about the movie leading filmmaker Mahesh Manjrekar said, "Leave everything aside, rush to a theatre near you & watch POSHTER BOYZ. Not to be missed fantastic entertainer which makes you think."

Another legendary actor Sachin Pilgaonkar said, "Poshter Boyz is a must see comedy film. It's an excellent entertainment and I wanna see it again."

Right from the beginning the movie holds audiences on tenterhooks, what makes the film so interesting is the storyline which has an instant connect with the viewers. Commenting on the response his movie is getting, an elated Shreyas Talpade said, "We are overwhelmed with the response we are getting for the film. Our focus was to make an original, honest and clean family entertainer that would connect with the masses and are glad that our efforts have been vindicated.

"What is very heartening to see is that the movie has been driven by content and the Marathi youth coming back to theatres, while not depending on a particular channel or newspaper to drive box office," added Shreyas.
