Shriya recruited for Baahubali prequel

'Baahubali: Before The Beginning' (the prequel to 'Baahubali: The Beginning') is being made by Deva Katta and Praveen Sattaru for Netflix. It stars Mrunal Thakur as the young Sivagami. The likes of Rahul Bose and Atul Kulkarni are also part of the cast.
The latest news is that Shriya Saran is in for an important role in the prequel. The two directors were reportedly influenced by the versatile actor's performance in 'Gautamiputra Satakarni'. The underrated actress will hopefully get her due in the digital world. The prequel will be premiered in 2019.
Shriya was recently seen in the Tollywood disaster 'Veera Bhoga Vasantha Rayalu', in which she played a cop's role. On the personal front, the beauty got married to Russian boyfriend Andrei Koscheev in March.
