There have been speculations for quiet some time now regarding who will romance the King of Opening ,Thala Ajith in his 56th film and it is now confirmed that Shruthi Hassan has been signed for the project. Shruthi this even walked out of the Karthi-Nagarjuna film for the chance to work with Thala.

Shruthi is already working with Illayathalapathy Vijay in Puli` and Thala 56 will be a giant step forward for her on the way to becoming the top most Heroine of Tamil cinema. The hunt is on for one more actress to do the role of Ajith`s sister. Anirudh scores the music for Ajith for the first time in Thala 56 which is directed by Siruthai Siva.
