It has been rumoured that Shruti Haasan will be romancing Pawan Kalyan in a film to be directed by Harish Shankar. Several unconfirmed reports have claimed that the 'Gabbar Singh' combination has been finalized.

The truth has now been spoken. It's straight from the horse's mouth. Shruti Haasan, Power Star's 'Katamarayudu' pair, has made it clear that there is no truth in the rumour. "I am not part of the film," the actress added.

The one Telugu film she is doing currently is 'Krack', starring Ravi Teja in the lead. "I am happy to be working with him again seven years after 'Balupu' happened. It was such an important film that changed people's perceptions of me. And its Hindi dubbed version has been very popular," Shruti says. The cop actioner, directed by Gopichand Malineni, releases on May 8. Its power-packed Teaser was recently out.
