Ulaga Nayagan Kamal Haasan, now an active politician has been on a whirlwnd tour across the state campaigning for the candidates of his Makkal Needhi Maiam party which is contesting in 40 seats in Lok Sabha elections and the 18 constituency Bye elections as well.

Kamal Haasan, besides himself campaigning for his party members by traveling across the state, has also been posting campaign videos to gain support and votes for them. A recent video of an angry Kamal breaking a TV displaying his anger on previous governments has turned viral.

Sharing this video. his daughter and actress Shruti Haasan tweeted "Go Daddy! Proud of you Kamal Haasan you have my vote always!". The tweet has turned viral and has been received positively across social media platforms. Thus Shruti Haasan has also entered into the MNM campaigning.
