Shruti Haasan gets a role in Pink remake!

Actress Shruti Haasan had last acted in Si 3 starring Suriya, and the actress is making a return to films after a break with the Vijay Sethupathi starrer Laabam directed by SP Jhananathan.

Shruti Haasan, who was recently seen in the short film Devi, is also popular in Tollywood. The actress who had acted alongside top heroes in Telugu has now landed a role in the Telugu remake of Pink, titled Vakeel saab.

It has been speculated that the actress will play actor Pawan Kalyan's pair in the movie, reprising the role played by Vidya Balan in the Tamil remake of Pink, Ner konda Paarvai. Vakeel saab is directed by Venu Sriram and also stars Nivetha Thomas, Anjali and Ananya Nagalla.
