Shruti Haasan much like her dad Kamal Haasan is multitalented and now during the coronavirus lockdown days is keeping herself busy immersing in music. Her latest video is a new rendition of the classic song "Thenpandi Seemaiyle' from Mani Ratnam's 'Nayagan' starring her dad that fetched him a National Award for Best Actor.

'Thenpandi Seemayile' itself has two versions one sung by the composer Isaigniani Ilayaraja and the other by Kamal and both are favorites for millions around the globe. Shruti has added a modern touch to it but has retained the soul.

On the film front Shruti's next release would be 'Laabam' directed by S.P. Jananathan, starring Vijay Sethupathi in the lead role.
