Shruti Haasan turns Lawyer

While the buzz surrounding Ajith's next film has it that Shruti Haasan would be seen in the role of a cabbie, the latest we hear is that the pretty damsel would play a lawyer in Thala 56'.

Apparently, Ajith would be seen in the role of cab driver while Shruti, a lawyer, plays his love interest in the film directed by Siruthai Siva. Ashwin Kakumanu is expected to play Lakshmi Menon's pair in the film, which recently wrapped up an overseas schedule.

Meanwhile, Shruti has signed another Bollywood film opposite Ajay Devgn. Baadshaho'. The emotional drama also stars Lisa Haydon.
