Shruti pretends like an innocent: Kamal

Kamal Haasan has revealed a secret about his older daughter Shruti Haasan that she pretends to be the doe-eyed, innocent person. "I too was like that till 26. Like how I shed it, she too has to do away with it," said the 'Ulaga Nayagan'.

In an interview to an English daily, Kamal has also said that he did not like any of Shruti's films so far. "I can say she has not realised her worth so far," said Kamal, adding: "I know she won't take offence to my saying this."

On her part, Shruti, who calls Kamal 'Bapuji', said she misunderstood her father at one point of time in her life and later realised she was wrong. "He is not just a great artiste, he is also a great father," according to her.
