Actor Siddharth recently delivered the sensational film, 'Chithha', which emerged as a critical and commercial success. He is joining hands with the makers of Sivakarthikeyan's 'Maaveeran' for his milestone 40th film. Yes, Shanthi Talkies officially announced today that they are producing 'Siddharth 40'.

The movie will be directed by Sri Ganesh of '8 Thottakkal' and 'Kuruthi Aattam' fame. Producer Arun Viswa said in his statement, "Siddharth 40 will feature a story with universal appeal, content that resonates with hearts across borders." More details on this project are awaited. The announcement of 'Siddharth 40' is doing rounds on the internet today. The shooting of this film will begin this year. On the personal front, Siddharth recently got engaged to his long-time lover and actress Aditi Rao Hydari. The lovebirds are expected to tie the knot soon.
