Actor Siddharth has been one of the most active celebrities on the Twitter space, and regularly makes his opinions on various issues be it regarding the film industry or politics or anything that is impacting. The actor had earlier been critical of the film fraternity's silence during the Me Too movement and has now touched the topic again.

Siddharth has posted a series of tweets, questioning why the same film fraternity which remained silent during Me Too issue is suddenly rising in support only for Nayanthara after Radharavi degraded her. He posted, "I was shocked that my entire fraternity was either silent or cynical about the Me Too movement; I silently rued the fact that it would take only the anger of a powerful woman to make the sleeping wake up. If you speak up only when your own are affected, it's not called bravery".

He then followed it up with another tweet that read "To any woman with influence who chose to be silent about Me Too because of Petty insecurity or prioritized outrage, please know you are as guilty as the men who dismissed the movement out of inherent misogyny. Each individual must take responsibility irrespective of gender." These tweets of actor Siddharth lashing out at the film industry for biased support have turned viral.
